Lists of Great Wineries

It seems that California (mostly) has started a trend where wine is made with slick machines and becomes manipulated and altered so much that the result tastes like it could have come from anywhere. Now, the disease has spread all over the world. Terroir is disappearing and it's up to the consumers to become educated and say 'no' to dumbed down wine. In a world where wine has become big business and wine is being made to suit certain critics' tastes so that high scores will translate into big bucks, I'm looking for small artisan wine makers and more naturally or traditionally made wines. It's not so easy to find which wineries are using traditional and natural methods these days, but we're trying. If you have any suggestions please email us or hit the Forum page and let us know.

Here is an ever-evolving list of wine makers we know (or at least think) are making traditional and natural style wines.
