Online Roasters and Tea Vendors
Buying tea online is fairly easy, but not all vendors are alike and not all vendors have great tea. Most have good tea and some have average tea for high-end prices. I won't say who does what but I can give you a list of vendors I have had good experiences with and received great product from. Here we go.
SpecialTeas.com - Great selection, good prices and choices between regular and high grades of tea. Offers a free sample with certain purchases. My current favorite place to get tea. Easy to order from.
Adagio.com - Another site with a great selection. I've been ordering from them for years. Good quality tea for excellent prices. Each tea I have tried has been good or great. Ordering is easy.
Rishi-Tea.com - This is a tea company that sells very good tea for prices that are reasonable. I have ordered tea and found tea in certain shops and supermarkets (higher-end markets like Henry's and Whole Foods). Ordering from the website is easy. They have a great loose-leaf Pu-Erh Maiden tea.
Republic of Tea - Found in stores and on the web, good tea for a decent price, sometimes prices seem a bit high for certain teas. They do sell some teas in teabag form as well, which is great for tea at work in less time.
PuErhShop.com and RoyalPuErh.com - Two sites that specialize in Pu-Erh. Good tea for good prices.
Beware of gimmicks and designer tea with high prices from places like TeaGarden and Tsalon and Salonteas. The tea may be of good quality but you're paying for packaging and other things you don't benefit from.

Where To Get Your Tea?
These are vendors I am familiar with and/or have ordered from and/or have discussed at length with other coffee nerds. These are great roasters with great reputations. If you're a roaster and want to be on the list, email me and send me some free coffee and we'll see what happens!
Some of the best coffee I have ever tasted comes from Blue Bottle Coffee. You can find them at BlueBottleCoffee.net - not .com....net. Temescal Espresso blend and Hayes Valley Espresso are awesome. I like Hayes Valley the best. Enjoy!
Gimme! Coffee is my local coffee place and I purchase my beans from them. The Espresso is chocolatey and smooth and most of the single origin beans are great, you can order through the internet fairly easily.
Counter Culture is a roaster in North Carolina. You can order from them on the web.
Stumptown Roasters is a roaster located in Oregon that does a great job with their beans. You'll be delighted with everything you can get from this roaster. You can order from Stumptowncoffee.com.
WCRcompany.com - West Coast Roasting. Great coffee. Ordering online is easy.
Many enjoy ordering from Intelligentsia and love the Black Cat espresso blend. I have not ordered from Intelligentsia but they are huge in the specialty coffee realm and popular with those who do espresso and coffee at home.
You want to roast your own coffee? Go to CoffeeProject.com or SweetMarias.com to get equipment and green beans. It's way easier than you think. Way easier. Give it a shot.
